If you select YES, distributors using the mobile app will be able to see if recipients are eligible.
Step 3: How do I identify a recipient?
This will be how you uniquely identify an individual when he/she comes to collect the item. In addition to choosing NRIC or Address, you may also choose Unique Identifier which can support voucher numbers, ticket numbers and handphone numbers.
When a recipient comes to the collection point, they will need to give their NRIC number to the staff at the collection point.
When a recipient comes to the collection point, they will need to give their postal code, followed by unit number to the staff at the collection point.
If you will be going to individual apartments, consider setting up the campaign as a Door-to-Door campaign instead.
If you identify a recipient by his/her address, you are able to set up the campaign as a Door-to-Door campaign. This campaign type is only applicable if you have a list of eligible households.
When the staff goes door-to-door to distribute items, they will select the unit-number from the list of eligible households.
If you do not want to identify the recipient by NRIC number or Address you may use any alpha-numeric characters. Examples include HP number, email addresses, staff number, ticket number, voucher number.
Step 4: Where are the locations for your distributions?
Locations are places where your distributions will occur.
If you selected NRIC, Address or Unique Identifier in your previous step, it likely means that recipients will be coming to a collection point to collect these items.
Hence, the locations you input here will be the various collection points. For example, the different Community Centres recipients can collect the food pack.
If you selected Door-to-Door in your previous step, it means that you will be going to a recipients doorstep to deliver the items.
Door-to-door mode is optimised for ~30 units per location. If your location has more than 30 beneficiaries, please split your locations so that the app will not be laggy.
For example, if you are distributing items to all units in a HDB block with 12 floors, and there are 10 units per floor, you must create at least 4 locations so that each location will have a maximum of 30 units.
Hence, the locations you input here will be sets of floors per HDB block.
If you had selected NRIC in Step 3: How do I identify a recipient, you will need to upload a list of NRIC numbers which are eligible to collect the Food Pack and Voucher.
Download the CSV template and fill up the allocations as shown below.
Additional information about the items (metadata) can be added as a new column. For example if we need to ensure that the ID of each voucher is tagged to an individual, we will add a metadata column of Voucher ID. All metadata will show up in the DistributeSG mobile app for distributors.
Upload this file and allocations will be automatically populated.
If you had selected Address in Step 3: How do I identify a recipient, you will need to upload a list of Postal code, floor and unit numbers which are eligible to collect the Food Pack and Voucher.
Download the CSV template and fill up the allocations as shown below.
Note that DistributeSG only accepts block information (numbers and accompanying alphabets) according to IC address for HDB and Condo blocks. Block inputs such as 'CondoName 2' and 'CondoName Block 6' will not be accepted by the system.
If there are no floor and unit numbers, please leave these columns blank.

Step 8: Manage your distributors
Distributors can join a campaign location by using a shared location code or through bulk upload of their mobile numbers by campaign administrators.
This method is used if campaign organisers do not know the mobile numbers of distributors before the campaign date.
Campaign organisers will need to share the location code which can be found in the Locations tab with distributors.
Distributors will then need to key in this location code in their mobile app to join the campaign.
This method is used if campaign organisers know the mobile numbers of distributors before the campaign date.
You will need to upload a list of your distributors' mobile numbers.
Download the CSV template and fill up the distributors as shown below. Leave the email column blank. You may add multiple location names by separating them with a comma.
Step 9: Make your campaign active
Activate the campaign to enable distributions.
Step 10: Start giving out items from the DistributeSG mobile app
If you had selected NRIC in Step 3: How do I identify a recipient, distributors will be able to scan an NRIC barcode or manually key in a recipient's NRIC number.
The app will show if a recipient is eligible.
The distributor may add optional remarks or pictures.
The distributor clicks Distribute and gives the items out.
Distributors will have to key in the recipients floor and unit number.

If you had selected Unique Identifier in Step 3: How do I identify a recipient, distributors will be able to scan a QR code or barcode which contains the unique identifier.
Alternatively, they may manually type the unique identifier in.
The app will show if a recipient is eligible.
The distributor may add optional remarks or pictures.
The item is distributed out once he/she clicks Distribute.
This means that you will be giving out food packs only to eligible residents.
You will also need to have this list of eligible people before the actual distribution takes place.
No
Anyone who comes to the collection point can receive the food pack.
You do not know specifically who will be coming to collect before the actual day of the campaign.
